graduating from a University in Ottawa, I chanced to learn that the National
Gallery has (had?) the largest collection of his works, and that he used to

I just ordered the C.Crane FM unit, and hope to use it not only for Internet
access to international broadcasters, but for a couple of my other
favourites as well:
KGO-810 is good but I worry that when IBOC comes on, my reception willl
deteriorate. I enjoy John Rothman and Bernie Ward here;
I did listen to it thanks to Richard's reminder and it was promising. I
look forward to the next edition...

it sounds to me like Linux might be a good way to go to listen to Our
Favourite Broadcasters -- can anyone suggest a good route to go (books,
URLs, etc.) to learn about how to adapt to Linux on my spare PC?

I have been enjoying (right word) my M's lose over and over this year
but the best sports on teevee, or live, for my money are volleyball and
tennis
in radio news, I did the BBC WS poll this week and told them their sports
shows were utterly unimportant to me

The HD radio alliance has spent millions of dollars on promotion, ads and
also OT but different:
our local cable has BBC WS on 36, with NO closed captioning whatever. For a
short period each day, CBC Newsworld on 26 simulcasts (identical program, no
lag even), and they DO have complete CC. Why would this be?
I spend a lot of time with teevees on CC (at the gym, and
as both these topics have arisen here, the NY Times has a good story about
the Mets teevee captioner (captioneer?)
