Hi, My name is Thomas. I have a degree in Mathematics and Statistics. However, I cannot recall my courses with symbolic math systems. I used to do some statistical analysis with R, and I have been interested in Python for a about a year now.
I am enthusiastic about SymPy since a couple of weeks because it could help running simulations for my research in Microeconomics. The topic is called consumer search. Basically, people need to sample some shops before buying stuff. Their search process depends on a probability distribution that tells the satisfaction a shop provides. I live in Australia and I speak French. I am looking forward to being part of the SymPy adventure.
