Hi all,

I've just pushed out SymPy 1.12rc1 as a release candidate to pypi and github.

This is a prelease intended for testing. A full release of SymPy 1.12
will hopefully be out soon depending on whether any problems are
reported with 1.12rc1. Please test this with downstream projects and
codebases.

You can install SymPy 1.12rc1 from pypi with

    pip install --upgrade --pre sympy

The release files are also available from GitHub:

https://github.com/sympy/sympy/releases/tag/sympy-1.12rc1

It has been 6 months since the last release 1.11.1 back in August so
there are a lot of changes. The release notes are here:

https://github.com/sympy/sympy/wiki/Release-Notes-for-1.12

Please test this release and if you find any problems then please
reply here or open a GitHub issue. Make sure that if you do open a
GitHub issue about a regression in the 1.12rc1 release (compared to
1.11.1) then you say that very clearly so that we can get it fixed
before the final release of 1.12.
