On behalf of the New York Road Runners Club, I'd like to announce our
two new web sites, www.mensracing.com and www.fast-women.com (a
relaunch) that focus on men's and women's elite distance running.
Mensracing.com features photos of Webb's historic run this past weekend
as well as interviews
Based on the performances of this past weekend, it looks like our track
season has finally gotten it's "official" start...so has the new and totally
unimproved version PERFORMANCE OF THE WEEK 2.0

Problem with putting the fastest runners on the track is that it has nothing
to do with a relay. France set the wr with men that ran 10.2 Canada won back
to back majors with less than spectacular 100 m runners, but as a team they
were gold.
The US, man for man has always had the fastest on the

Byrne was one of those guys who, as I recall, was incredibly physically
mature as a high school sophomore. I was disappointed, but not shocked,
that he did not have an awesome career in college or beyond.
Sad news from the world of disabled athletics, wheelchair racing
specifically. Nick Katsounis, race director of the North American 10km
Wheelchair Championship, founding member of the Long Island Association
of USATF and tireless agent for disabled athletes, passed away suddenly
on January 19th.
