Dominique Arnold ran a season-leading 13.14 (2.0) to win the hurdles at the small meeting on Tuesday evening in Koenigs Wusterhausen, near Berlin. Paul McMullen easily won the 1500 in a slow 3:48.06 (no pacemaker). The only reason he was running tonight was to get a "wildcard" into the 800 on Friday night in Berlin. Despite two Olympic champions in the hammer, the results didn't exactly sparkle. Ziolkowski won with 78.31, with defending European champion Tibor Gecsek was second at 77.28. Atlanta champion Balazs Kiss took fourth at 76.02. Full results may be found at www.steeple.de.
