England hosted the USATF Junior Olympic Cross Country Championship a few years ago.

OK, I now take back everything I said about the best athletes not
necessarily running the fastest times during the
Mike Takaha brings to my attention Alicia Warlick's 4.50m (14'9") at the
Texas Southern Relays on March 24th. This is a full 4" higher than the best

In fact there were no Kenyan juniors at all in the '81 World Cross race. As
best as I can tell, there was no Kenyan junior team until 1985.
