t-and-f: 19.88 by J.J. Johnson

2001-08-25 Thread Barbara George Grenier

Statistically, the 19.88 is equal 11th on the All-time US 200 list. And has
far as I can tell, it is the best performance ever for Lane 9 in the 200.
Perhaps, Jed Brickner can verify this.

the 100 marks will be carried as legal on the yearly and all-time lists, even

t-and-f: Turtle blood and caterpillar fungus

Press release state that Ma will be in Edmonton with his turtle blood and
caterpillar fungus.
I think these concoctions should be tried by someone.
The person best qualified to this would be Garry Hill. He has the
investigative reporter skills, and according to accounts on this list can
consume large quantities of concoctions such as terminators.

Does anyone know what happened to the running family from southern
California, the Garritson's?

About 13 years ago, the family had five or six runners who were the best in
their age group including the star, Carrie, who led the women's adult
division of the LA Marathon in '87 (I believe) through the first half? I
never heard anything about any of them since.

Does anyone know if they all burned out, or whether some competed in college
or beyond?

Tyree Washington ran a personal best of 44.28 giving him four of the top

John Godina had a double win of 20.83 in the shot and 65.86.
Seilala Sua had a double of 17.38 and 61.94
