Just to be clear, I use the word "Kalenjin" in the broad sense, used by John Manners and others. Kalenjins are spread out along the western rim of the Rift Valley and constitute about half of the province's population. The Rift Valley area is also homeland to the Kissi and the Kikuyu, which includes the Kamba, I believe. Cosmas Ndeti is a Kamba tribesman. Lameck Aguta belongs to the Kisii tribe.
