If I understand the opening_hours wiki page correctly you're missing a semicolon and the correct input should be: opening_hours=24/7; Fr 14:00-22:00 off Does that work? Alternatively, omitting the 24/7 part would be correct as it's implied if the off range is not preceded by anything

If I may insert myself into the conversation. I looked at the opening_hours syntax recently when learning about parking specifications. http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:opening_hours#Syntax Something like that could be used to specify different frequencies with time of year.

All, I've contributed to osm in the past, though I tend to do edits for a little bit then disappear for a long while. I recently had an idea for an app, which required me to have street parking data for the city of Montréal and since it's not in osm yet I thought I would start adding it.
