Hi everyone,
The two week discussion period about this feature has elapsed and I am
calling for a vote at
https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Proposed_features/Mimics
You may remember that the proposed feature applies to cellphone masts and
towers that are disguised, to varying degrees of success, as trees, cacti,
or other features of the natural or built environment. Initial discussion
was productive in uncovering that the practice of tagging these structures
"Tower:construction=concealed" was counterproductive.
While communications equipment contained in these structures may be
concealed the masts and towers themselves often stick out like a sore thumb.
