Sorry, I didn't make myself clear. I don't want to make the whole layer transparent (I know how to do that), but only the background, i.e. I only want to see the errors. I thought that this TRANSPARENT=TRUE will achieve this, but either I applied it wrong or it simply doesn't work this way.
