This seems an odd term. To me a side street is one that branches off from the main road, not an extra bay off to one side. Do you have a link to the previous discussion? Hey all, voting has started for street_side parking: https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Proposed_features/parking%3Dstreet_side We propose to introduce "street_side" as a new value for parking=* and parking:lane=*. It is intended for parking areas/bays, which are directly adjacent to the carriageway of a road (but not lane parking on the carriageway) and can be reached directly from the roadway without having to use an access way.
