I've just had a quick look, and at first glance, indeed it seems doable to change the way we run Tor Launcher so that it is accessible, just like we did for Onion Circuits. Bonus points: it'll ease porting Tails to Wayland. anonym, if you agree: may you please file a ticket about it?
