[Tails-dev] Preparing the next monthly report
We should start writing the monthly report for last month. A blueprint with the current report, who volunteered to curate it, and tips on how to fill it can be found on: https://tails.boum.org/blueprint/monthly_report/ But *you* should make sure that the cool stuff that *you* did will be mentioned in there. The person who volunteered to curate the report will help coordinate, patch, and rephrase things but will not be able to go through every possible source of information (including what's in your head). Keeping in mind that these reports are targeted at the other Tails contributors, people contributing to related projects, expert users, and Tails advocates, so they can be useful, for example, to: - Give others a quick overview of what you are doing and where your work can be found. - Get help or feedback from others. - Give a sense of the very diverse contributions that are valuable to the project and encourage more people to join in. - Show off how cool we are! ___ Tails-dev mailing list Tails-dev@boum.org https://mailman.boum.org/listinfo/tails-dev To unsubscribe from this list, send an empty email to tails-dev-unsubscr...@boum.org.
Re: [Tails-dev] Tails template for Qubes

To illustrate what a Qubes Tails template would mean... In comparative terms... - better integration: comes with Qubes tools installed by default [comparable to a VM with VirtualBox guest additions installed by default or not for mouse integration, clipboard sharing, seamless mode and so forth] - easier installation: installs Tails on Qubes by using the system package manager [comparable to downloading a VirtualBox image from the internet vs downloading/inserting a Tails DVD manually into VirtualBox] [Currently Tails can only be run as a HVM in Qubes: It can be roughly compared to booting Tails inside VirtualBox without having VirtualBox guest additions existing] Cheers, Patrick ___ Tails-dev mailing list Tails-dev@boum.org https://mailman.boum.org/listinfo/tails-dev To unsubscribe from this list, send an empty email to tails-dev-unsubscr...@boum.org.

Here you go. There are extremely minimal on purpose. [Tails-dev] Tails template for Qubes
I just wanted to let you know that people from Qubes started a ticket about having a Tails template for Qubes. I never used Qubes myself and barely understand what this means but I'll follow the ticket and maybe others interested in Qubes should do to: DrWhax, anonym? https://github.com/QubesOS/qubes-issues/issues/2024 ___ Tails-dev mailing list Tails-dev@boum.org https://mailman.boum.org/listinfo/tails-dev To unsubscribe from this list, send an empty email to tails-dev-unsubscr...@boum.org.
Re: [Tails-dev] Making Tails 2.4 more accessible
Hi, Nathan Hale: It would be nice if the next Tails were distributed more like the previous versions This is true and would make for a wonderful experience (: There's a discussion on USENET I will try to find it (: u: meantime: https://tails.boum.org/install/download. Forced compliance by threat of the clearnet; this is broken ): Wordlife, Spencer ___ Tails-dev mailing list Tails-dev@boum.org https://mailman.boum.org/listinfo/tails-dev To unsubscribe from this list, send an empty email to tails-dev-unsubscr...@boum.org.
