I'm not sure to understand what you mean by "netboot", do you mean PXE?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Preboot_Execution_Environment

Can you elaborate on which user scenarios would benefit from a netboot?

[Tails-dev] [Tails-news] Tails 3.10.1 is out

2018-10-24 Thread Tails - News
This release fixes [many security vulnerabilities](https://tails.boum.org/secu
rity/Numerous_security_holes_in_3.9.1/index.en.html).

You should upgrade as soon as possible.

# Changes

## Upgrades and changes

  * Hide the **[PIM**
option](https://tails.boum.org/doc/encryption_and_privacy/veracrypt/index.en.html#parameters)
 when unlocking _VeraCrypt_ volumes because _PIM_ won't be supported until
Tails 4.0. ([#16031](https://labs.riseup.net/code/issues/16031))

  * Rename the buttons in the confirmation dialog of _Tails Installer_ to
**Install** (or **Upgrade**) and **Cancel** to be less confusing.
([#11501](https://labs.riseup.net/code/issues/11501))

  * Update _Linux_ to 4.8.

  * Update _Tor Browser_ to 8.0.3.

  * Update _Thunderbird_ to 60.2.1.

## Fixed problems

  * Prevent _Tor Browser_ from leaking the language of the session.
([#16029](https://labs.riseup.net/code/issues/16029))

  * Prevent _Additional Software_ from asking to persist packages which are
already configured as additional software.
([#15983](https://labs.riseup.net/code/issues/15983))

  * Prevent _Tails Installer_ from crashing when issuing an error message with
international characters (non-ASCII).
([#15166](https://labs.riseup.net/code/issues/15166))

  * Fix the _VeraCrypt_ support for multiple encryption ([cascades of
ciphers](https://www.veracrypt.fr/en/Cascades.html)).
([#15967](https://labs.riseup.net/code/issues/15967))

  * Harden the configuration of `sudo` to prevent privilege escalation.
([#15829](https://labs.riseup.net/code/issues/15829))

tails.immerda.ch/tails/plain/debian/changelog).
