Hi folks,
Just a quick update.
While bell has sent the wrong equipment twice now..still waiting for my
landlord 's third request, he is allowing me to borrow the unit for a hard
work related deadline.
Everything connected perfectly, to my set, i have the box along with a
DVD player and a
Hi Scott,
Your guess about the Apple TV box is incorrect.
Bell does not insure any of their boxes, satellite or cable, can work with
adaptive technology, or access available items like descriptive video,
One does not require a specific technology for audio description so to

No, I said you wouldn't need a box capable of outputting 4k video
resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels), like the VIP5662 is, since
Nothing, but you suggested I would not need 4k..bell accessibility
disagrees with you, even if it does not work.
Likewise in your first post you hinted that bell should insure, as a
subscriber, that the service could be used. That is also untrue in
reality.

PVR that works with the Bell slimline remote. Beside that is the

And Scott?
Bell accessibility requires you use the apple TV 4k..that it is not
accessible for many populations living with disabilities is
unimportant, they just give it to you for free.

The VIP2262 has all the same connections as the VIP2502, including
component and composite video and
Can we please focus on my specific question?
Which is if anyone has the box for which I provided the direct link?
What bell's site states, and what can be provided, specifically from an
access ability standpoint, are more than two different things...and I
really need to get back fully to
oh, this box has suitable connectors for all my television audio and
video equipment.
Meaning I would not draw audio from this box so to speak.
Indeed voip type phone services are an issue, but as other things connect
to this
box, that is safe for me, it ought to be fine.

According to Bell's web site, the receiver that is currently used for
Fibe TV is the VIP2262 (presumably with the optional wireless
interface). They also use the VIP5662 for 4K resolution TV
As shared,
My landlord does subscribe, has requested the correct equipment twice, but
bell has provided the wrong equipment twice now.
Its why I am trying to help him..he has never even seen an Ethernet cable.

If you subscribe to Bell's Fibe TV service, they should provide, or
tell you how to obtain, the equipment necessary to use the service.
