For Comcast, note there are two apps for Gold Wave: GoldWave and
GoldWave_enhanced. I never used the program, so I don't know anything about
them.

You may have unintentionally pressed CTRL+INSERT+F instead of CTRL+SHIFT+F to
issue the find command— easy enough to do especially if you regularly jump
