Greetings everyone.
This is really a Windows issue, not a window-eyes one, so off list replies may be more helpful to everyone. Please email replies to vd...@xtra.co.nz I have stacks of spare storage space, and when the pc was first built, I had a separate drive for user and data files. When the pc had to be rebuilt, I forgot to ask the technician to set things up properly. I understand that in windows 8.1, it just isn't easy to file explorer cut anhd paste a c:\ default user folder and subfolders to (in my case) e:\ user. I understand that the startup will keep looking for c:\user. \ I can backup everything, so happy to take the risk of following advice from knowledgeable people. This all presumes that the steps are accessible via window-Eyes 9.1. This is Windows 8.1 pro, 64 bit edition I would also like to transfer programme data files off the C drive. If not accessible, e.g. through bios, I'll leave it to the helpful sighted person. Many thanks. Vaughan. _______________________________________________ Any views or opinions presented in this email are solely those of the author and do not necessarily represent those of Ai Squared.
