I fought with Amazon Customer Service for a few weeks about this. They kept saying that my computer was broken aor something was wrong with my Windows installation. However, the Microsoft Disability desk couldn't find anything wrong with my Windoes 7 installation. For the record, I have generally been pleased with their service, but not this time. They had no answer and wouldn't even discuss accessibility with me. Th;ey mnake their accessible plug-in hard to find, and I've heard it hasn't been updated for several years. Neither the controls within the app nor those on the web site are useable in my experience, even with Window-Eyes 9.3. Other listers and GW staff have indicated that the Iphone app is accessible, but I haven't gotten around to trying it yet. I was so frustrated before the holidays that I gave up on Kindle for a while. I will revisit the issue later. Sorry for the long rant.

Subject: Problem with Amazon

I am trying to use the Kindle app with plugin for vision impaired readers
but nothing seems to work. The application won't even accept my email
address and several different passwords. I am running W E3 on Windows 10.
Does W E have a problem with this app and, if so, is there any way of
overcoming it? Will AI consider delivering a webinar on the use of Amazon.
