I actually think the offer should apply to all customers, regardless of whether they attend conventions.
Most people don't go to the Conventions, and I remember feeling slightly grumpy with NFB, ACB and the rest when I became aware of the Convention promotion. I had an old JFW serial number, and would have bought the latest and greated. But that's in the past and not worth my getting annoyed about something I couldn't do much about then, and don't have to do anything about it now.
