Subject: using the spell checker in Outlook 2013

Hi everyone,
I’m writing this again to see if perhaps I didn’t do something right last time.
I asked about this a few weeks ago, and tried what some one recommended
without success. Perhaps I didn’t quite do it the right way. Is there a way
to get the spell checker in Outlook 2013 to talk? If so, how do I get that up
and running? I’m using Windows 7, and Window-Eyes version 9.5.1.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Could you please advise me of why when I open a PDF that our school sends out,
it reads like there is a period at the end of each word. It is making me crazy.
It just started this behavior after the last update of Window Eyes.

You are correct, The Amazon Kindle services are great. A while back I
bought a Hopalong Cassidy book and some chapters were missing at the end of
the book. They refunded my money.

Hi,

I tend to do that as a matter of rule but sometimes like most, I forget.lol
Honestly the kindle customer services are great about refunding. Somehwow I
was signed up to the monthly subscription and I didn't notice it for almost
10 months. They refunded all the money they took from my bank, no questions
asked. They have also refunded me for those books that didn't read. I am
puzzled why the kindle app for the pc and for the iphone don't read those
books but the kindle book reader can read it. Must be something in the
programming.

This should be the last message on the subject. When I tried to read the
book with the Kindle PC app, I got the message that there isno text on this
page. The book I was trying to read is Captain America Civil War by Ed
Brubaker. The book appears to be a scanned image. Converting with Codex, I
tried EPub, PDF, and TXT, and no text was displayed. When attempting to
read the PDF, I got the “Empty Document” message. QRead couldn’t parce the
book—not surprising.The
Virtual View script was no help. The question now is, how can one determine
he has such a file before purchasing a Kindle book?

Re: Kindle Books

2016-10-10 Thread bj colt via Talk

Dear Rod,

I have had the exact same experiences. However, there is no way to tell
prior to purchasing a kindle book the type of file it is. I have found
Amazon customer services are fine at refunding the cost of the book. I don't
know of any way to convert the file to an accessible format. The only
possible option is to buy a cheap kindle book. That sort of defeats the
purpose of installing the kindle accessible app for pc.
