changing the start menu in windows 7

Hello, in windows 7, when I go into start menu properties and click customize, the customize dialog pops up, but I can't access the list of programs that you can add to the start menu. The only list boxes I can access are the one's that say, show as a link, show as a menu, don't show this item.

Yes, the Get Windows 10 prompt grabs the Focus, no matter what program is running. I usually press ALT F4 to get rid of the Get Windows 10 Pop Up. But it comes back in a few minutes. -- Dave ___ Any views or opinions

When I go to windows update and check for updates it says my system is up to date despite me running the 10240 build of win10. Do I have to wait for the invite from ms or will the fall build be automatically installed? ___ Any views or opinions
