Olusegun,

The Microsoft accessibility dept. guys recommend Office 365 since accessibility
improvements roll out continually through Office auto update.

Best,

Rod

Rather than take on a monthly subscription, I'd rather purchase Office 2016
Professional; there's a gentleman who has pretty good pricing on it for one
computer. If ok, I'll share the info in the next post.

Sincerely,
Olusegun

Re: Outlook 2007 Question

2017-08-13 Thread Lloyd Rasmussen via Talk

Au contrair!
On my wife's computer, (Windows 7) JAWS 18 crashes everything if she does a
spell-check in Word 2007 or Outlook 2007. V F O recommends we get newer
software because a support person told me that they don't test for
compatibility with software which is that old.
We had JAWS 17, which we bought at the NFB convention a year ago.
Spell-check works properly in Word 2007, and works once or twice per session
in Outlook 2007. Of course, Window-Eyes 9.5.4 has SET files specifically for
these programs, and spell-check works. Not as interested in whether it
reports the read status of the messages.

Hi Pastor,

Well, here we have the evidence for using Jaws over Window-Eyes, at least if
you prefer to use older software. (smile)

Outlook 2007 read/unread tags was RE: Outlook Question

2017-08-13 Thread Rod Hutton via Talk
Hi Pastor,

It is fairly well known to list members that Outlook 2007 does not provide the
read/unread tag on emails.
If I may suggest, and if you can afford $6.99 per month for a single-PC
licence, Office 365 contains the most up-to-date version of Outlook, on an
ongoing basis, as well as all the other Office apps, plus 1 terabyte of online
storage.
For $9.99 per month, you can get the same features, for five PCs or Macs.
This is my current subscription level.
You can save a bit of money if you subscribe to this package as an annual
subscription.

Take care,

Rod
