After crash
Thanks for pointing me to the cursor dialog box and the key label dictionary they solve several of the problems . once I figured out which bits needed to be altered. However when I go word by word through a document in MS Word while using window Eyes 7.2 I still get where it’s doing see spot run run rather than see spot run period. At the end of the line the word next to a punctuation mark Or any of the other punctuation marks is still replying as if it is the word it’s right next to it’s like the program is taking the word next to a quotation punctuation mark and a punctuation mark as one item and then when it gets to the punctuation mark it reads the other one again I can’t figure out where to adjust it ? and this is in the word by word feature not in the reader or any of the other modes any ideas . Thanks for your time . Thanks for your time. Oh now Richard ___ Any views or opinions presented in this email are solely those of the author and do not necessarily represent those of Ai Squared. The other problem is when I push control shift page app to read the sentence prior it switches to that sentence but does not read it I can’t get it to change sentence and read the sentence at the same time this would let me stairstep through the document I was working on I had it working that way before but can’t find out how to do it now and either shifts the sentence or reads the sentence depending on which command I give it Richard > On Nov 5, 2021, at 2:30 AM, chiph...@cox.net wrote: > > I’m doing these one at a time the next part I’m having problems with is > getting it to jump up to the start of a paragraph and then reading the whole > paragraph at the same time before the crash I could jump up after the > paragraph before or the paragraph after and get it to read the paragraph the > best I can do now is where it jumps up one paragraph reads it but it doesn’t > move the cursor I’m on so rather than jumping up three paragraphs quickly I’m > stuck on just the one before me > > Richard > > > >> On Nov 5, 2021, at 2:28 AM, chiph...@cox.net wrote: >> >> OK first of all the problem is if I typed see spot run. When I hit the home key and jump to the beginning of the line it doesn’t state beginning of line or anything else so I have to fiddle around to find out if I am at the beginning of a sentence with the tab or anything else at the beginning of the line I have to guess where I wind up with Richard > On Nov 5, 2021, at 2:30 AM, chiph...@cox.net wrote: > > I’m doing these one at a time the next part I’m having problems with is > getting it to jump up to the start of a paragraph and then reading the whole > paragraph at the same time before the crash I could jump up after the > paragraph before or the paragraph after and get it to read the paragraph the > best I can do now is where it jumps up one paragraph reads it but it doesn’t > move the cursor I’m on so rather than jumping up three paragraphs quickly I’m > stuck on just the one before me > > Richard > > > >> On Nov 5, 2021, at 2:28 AM, chiph...@cox.net wrote: >> >> OK first of all the problem is if I typed see spot run. Re: After crash
I’m doing these one at a time the next part I’m having problems with is getting it to jump up to the start of a paragraph and then reading the whole paragraph at the same time before the crash I could jump up after the paragraph before or the paragraph after and get it to read the paragraph the best I can do now is where it jumps up one paragraph reads it but it doesn’t move the cursor I’m on so rather than jumping up three paragraphs quickly I’m stuck on just the one before me Richard > On Nov 5, 2021, at 2:28 AM, chiph...@cox.net wrote: > > OK first of all the problem is if I typed see spot run. After crash
I have just had to reinstall my window eyes 7.2 on a vista machine and i am having problems getting ms word commands to work properly. Does anyone remember how to get or reset the following commands? When reading word by word getting it to read the punctuation mark rather than window eyes repeating which ever word the punctuation mark is next to? Next is getting window eyes to state what is at the beginning of a line when i press the home button? How do i get window eyes and or ms word to jump up to , or drop down to the paragraph above or below current cursor? Before the crash i was able to hit a preset command which would jump me up or down. However I don’t mean read previous because that will just keep reading the same one up or down paragraph. Where the command I’m looking for would slowly step me through the document. This brings me to the question I know the command to stair step me through a ms word document but it won’t auto speak at the moment. I know all of these are possible because i was doing them before the crash. One last problem, even though i told my installation disk to install all help files , every time i try to use the help section of window eyes it goes to loading and does nothing else. Any ideas ?
