Darrell, this might depend largely on what you are trying to accomplish with
web hosting.  That aside, I recommend you take a hard look at:

www.hostgator.com

www.ixwebhosting.com
is yet another web hosting platform you can give a try.

Some domain registrars do offer web hosting, you may also want to check
those out.  

There's also www.softkin.com/  The price is reasonably right on this one in
that you pay a fixed price once and get it for life if memory serves;
however, depending on what you are trying to accomplish, it may or may not
be a good buy for you.  So, carefully analyse your web hosting needs before
choosing a service provider.
