Now what you are taling about, is that the piece of hardware that either
goes in the usbport or in the audio output for the headsets?
If correct, are they just a fix for bluetooth or they indeed a reliable
source to give your computer bluetooth cabable?

You need Bluetooth hardware. If your computer doesn't have built in
Bluetooth, you can buy a usb adapter to give your computer Bluetooth.
