Hi Raul,

While listening to your very useful tutorials, I noticed that when you
are arrowing through the Desktop icons, the voice is announcing the
index number of each icon. e.g. 8 of 27

Where is the setting located so I can change Jaws to do the same on my
system?

Thanks

If you are a true supporter of capitalism, then you don't necessarily in
a silly catch phrase like "America first." Protectionism has no place in
a truly free market.

That said, we don't have a vruly free market, and the reality is, if we
did, we might not have many of the technological advances (geared toward
the blind) we do have.

Re: Tutorial Question

2017-05-29 Thread Raul A. Gallegos via Talk
Hello Dave, I don't know if there will be more. If you or anyone else
have other categories or topics in mind regarding the migration, I
suggest contacting VFO Group support, or maybe post it here and I'm sure
that someone like Doug Geoffray and/or Aaron Smith will see that and
relay it accordingly. It's not up to me. *smile*,.

Re: Tutorial Question

2017-05-29 Thread Carol and Roger via Talk
Short answer is that Raul's tutorials come from the perspective of a
Window-Eyes user where Jaws tutorials give the impression that you might
be a beginning non-screen reader user.

Hi Ted:

They are one in the same.

Here is a link to where you’ll find them:

http://www.gwmicro.com/window-eyes/migrate

Hit H for headings until you come to the heading that says, “Tutorials/Podcast”
and you’ll find them there.

Hope this helps.
