Re: office 2016 help

2016-05-27 Thread Kevin Huber via Talk
Hi Jed:

Office 2016 also has a welcome screen which you should disable, if you
hadn't already. When I ran Excel 2016 it kind of through me for a
loop until I recognized it from Word 2016. It can be disabled from
the options menu.

Jed, I remeber a post on this site indicating that one needed to have the
Office 2016 set files for Office 365. Even though I have Office 365, I can
only find set files for office 2013 on my machine. so, not sure where one
gets the 2016 versions. Also, since you and I are having similar issues,
what kind of a new machine do you have?

Re: office 2016 help

2016-05-25 Thread Marc Solomon via Talk
The Office 2016 set files are available in the latest version of Window-Eyes.
In the WE control panel, open the File menu and select Factory Settings. This
will put you in a dialog that lists all set files and provides buttons for
installing them.

Marc

You should have installed the correct set files for 2016. Office 2016 is
