[OSM-talk] routing across open spaces

hi, i walk a lot, and would like a routing engine which understands i can take a direct route across an open public space, such as a park, without needing a footpath to be explicitly drawn in. the existing routing engines don't seem to understand this. or am i missing a tag? do i need to tag parks

Hi! Lately, there were many cases of spam in russian OSM diaries ([1],[2],[3]). Which is more concerning, there's a post ([4]) with step-by-step instruction on how to setup josm and other tools for Google Maps (and other proprietary) satellite imaging tracing. Who's to mail to delete such stuff?
