Hi Martin, On the first pass, I am not checking individual Q-ID numbers, mostly because the existing tooling is very poor for that, and the rate of error is very low. JOSM simply looks up the ID and adds it. BUT, once it is added, I do a query (OT) for the tags, and match them with the Wikidata

Hej, Efter ett besök i Luleå förra helgen har jag nu gjort några små ändringar av OpenStreetMap där, men en grej som jag noterade var att hela centrum (kollade inte nåt annat) verkar vara några meter off jämfört med Bing (och även GPS-spår). Som jag förstår det är mycket inritat just efter Bing,

Hi, I am exploring ways to make more educational maps in Wikipedia. For example, this graph shows all US state governors. It works by querying Wikidata for the governors' info, and drawing state overlays using OSM relations tagged with the Wikidata IDs.

[Talk-us] Tagging karaoke bars?

Anybody know the best practice to tag it? I was thinking just tagging as a bar (or restaurant, or whatever) then adding karaoke=yes , which seems to be somewhat common on Taginfo, 166 uses. The place I am thinking of is one of those spots where there's a bar and you rent a small room with friends

Gli argini sono di terra. Gli argini più "semplici"[1] possono anche essere rappresentati con una semplice way con man_made=embankment, ma gli argini maestri a volte sono anche elementi abbastanza complessi da mappare[2]... Ciao! Lollo [1]

Non ho capito sinceramente se gli argini sono muri a secco in pendenza, come spesso si vede dalle mie parti in Trentino, perché in tal caso io uso barrier=retaining_wall, e wall=dry_stone, come way lungo il bordo dell'argine. man_made=embankment se é solo terra, con l'aggiunta di two_sided=yes

Tra l'altro mi accorgo ora di un man_made=dyke [1] che sembra ancora più specifico, ma abbandonato in favore del più generico embankment... In entrambi i casi comunque se ne prevede solo l'utilizzo come linea e non come area. Area necessaria

Questa discussione dovrebbe essere portato alla lista tagging. Con i due tag c'è un problema linguistico, se volete. Un "embankment" in inglese (confermato da Wikipedia) è l'equivalente di un argine in italiano, cioè un oggetto elongato, stretto, che ha due scarpate. Le due pagine wiki citate
