Hi, i use the analyseur osmose (https://gitorious.org/osmose/backend/) to detect the ways that - same geometry (but not necessary same nodes) - same tags correction is made by josm - fix duplicated ways - fix orphaned nodes I have not analyzed the causes of these duplicates. Would it be possible to link to the relevant changesets? +1 This happen if JOSM fails to upload correctly and the user does not update data before trying to upload again. In fact there is even a bug in JOSM where the upload finishes but JOSM never gets that important answer from the server.
