Ben,
It appears that ABS data that is inland may connect to the coastline
but doesn't continue along it with the same way.
Therefore I'm pretty sure that if you are carefull not to actually click
on the coastline at all, then you will be quite safe.

remapping roads and since I don't want
to flood all of australia :-).
