Hi, At the last Leuven meetup, Jo organized a workshop about using QGIS with OSM data to render nice maps.
We also looked at using Maperitive, which seems excellent for rendering maps-for-print if you don't really need to process data but just render it as is. The two presentations on QGIS are available here: https://github.com/osmbe/qgis_rendering/ Thank you to all the people making this happen. We would like to something similar in Brussels, where it should be easier to form a bigger group. If you have a suggestion for a topic, please shoot. -- Joost Schouppe OpenStreetMap <http://www.openstreetmap.org/user/joost%20schouppe/> | Twitter <https://twitter.com/joostjakob> | LinkedIn <https://www.linkedin.com/pub/joost-schouppe/48/939/603> | Meetup <http://www.meetup.com/OpenStreetMap-Belgium/members/97979802/>
