I happened across http://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/relation/1205150, a
relation with name=Lake Erie.
My recollection is that last time this came up we decided that as the Great
Lakes are large lakes by any reasonable standard they are best represented
as natural=coastline. Thousand-member MPs simply do not work. Right now they
are both a natural=water MP and natural=coastline ways.
Unless anyone recalls differently I'll go ahead and verify that the
coastline is building correctly then clean up the MPs. I'm pretty sure the
coastline is building as if it weren't we wouldn't see the great lakes at
low zooms
I'll also clean up stuff like 1205139. See
