Rob,
Apologies, I spoke too soon. Having scrolled down I found the project and
I'm already 5 changesets in.
Not sure about what to put as the source tag so pasting in the EduBase2
url. If there is a convention on this, please advise so I can use this
going forward.
Thinking aloud for future
Up to 320 edits on schools today :-) Which is getting close to the daily
record of 397 for the quarterly project (way back in January).
We're also just 3 edits away from a "create" record - Harry's tool measures
creations and modifications.
Great mapping effort this evening. Thanks for all the
No, still lots to do Paul.
You may need to click "Select a different challenge" and scroll down to UK
Schools.

Just connected to the MapRoulette link from earlier to be greeted with:
*"The challenge you were working on is all done. Thanks for helping out!"*
Is everything mapped then? ;)

FYI, I've just updated my comparison tool at
http://robert.mathmos.net/osm/schools/progress/ again.
We now have matches to 75% of the schools in the official data.
(Though of course not all of these will be correct.)
Keep up the good work everyone,
Robert.

I'm following the maproulette tasks which means lots of Wales. It's easy to
get sidetracked as the data is often poor here!
Maybe a focus for a future quarter...

You're best to copy the postcode/name from maproulette in to the edubase
search:
http://www.education.gov.uk/edubase/home.xhtml
I agree that an easier tool for these sort of "manual imports with
validation" would be good but lets make the most of what we have.
