Sounds like Colin has done better than me I use CloudNext web hosting (http://cloudnext.co.uk). They offer a service with 'unlimited' storage and bandwidth, which sounded good for tiles and has the advantage of allowing python scripting as well as php and perl, so I can run tilecahce on it
