Clifford,
We'll said. OWNERSHIP of your home turf would be a good subject for you to
present at the SOTM 2018. It would appeal to those of us "unpaid mappers"
who attend SOTM. All the 2017 sessions were interesting, but few related
directly to how I map.

I could not reach her cabin in my high clearance van so I called it a

My preferred language is set to "en"
For example Florence Italy displays as Firenze even though it's tagged with
many languages including en:Florence
I get the same display in both the chrome and internet explorer browsers.

How can I view the current zoom level in the JOSM editor or at the basic
OSM website openstreetmap.org
Zoom levels are defined as numbers (1-19) at
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Zoom_levels
I read a lot of messages talking about viewing details at at specific zoom
levels.
The only place I
the download button there doesn't
have a visible effect, but you probably have to do it.
After that it works as advertised now.
Cheers,

The only documentation I can find is The RasterFiltersPlugin allows to
choose and apply some images' filters to some layers
I loaded the plugin and see no tools, I'm feeling like an idiot.
I installed JAVA ok.

Eric,
I'm not ready to join your group but I'm willing to put in a couple hours
armchair mapping once you have a specific task. Just let me know.

Clifford,
Can't meet you in AZ but wanted to let you know how much I liked your
osm_seattle.snowandsnow.us link. You've got some great stuff there. I
recently started using osm and have been looking for things like your
tutorial
Finding Differences in Roads
.
