I was in the process of adding some data, and had a discussion with another mapper about whether the license provided by Mississauga Data ( http://www.mississauga.ca/portal/residents/mississaugadata) is compatible with the OSM licence.
Their licence, available in the site's terms of use http://www.mississauga.ca/file/COM/CityOfMississaugaTermsOfUse.pdf, provides "a world‐wide, royalty‐free, non‐exclusive, revocable licence to use, modify, and distribute the Datasets in all current and future media and formats for any lawful purpose". I assumed this provided the permission to use their data without restriction that OSM is looking for; can anyone confirm? Thanks, Greg
