Hello everyone. We would like to announce that we've refreshed our missing roads validation tasks [0] for the Philippines, which now supersedes some of our earlier tasks. As before,the task is open to mappers of all skill levels.
Our earlier tasks, with your help, and those of other volunteers and participants in our mapping activities -- especially those of our PUPSJCWTS++ volunteers, made it possible to complete the missing roads tasks in Bicol, Calabarzon, Central Visayas, Davao, Eastern Visayas, Mimaropa, Northern Mindanao, Soccskargen, Western Visayas, and Zamboanga Peninsula. We also made some head-way in Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, and Ilocos. Now, the effort is simply divided into three tasks: Luzon [1], Visayas [2], and Mindanao [3]. Our on-going priority is the road geometry validation in the rest of Central Visayas [4], outside of Metro Cebu, which we completed in September. In behalf of the rest of the Kaart Team, thank you for your help. We always look forward to your feedback on this, or our other tasks.
