Naming them different than they are named on the ground is mapping for the
renderer.
Just add train=yes, bus=yes or tram=yes, and that should be enough. A good
renderer will put a little train/bus/tram icon below the name of the
station.

We map them with their real name over here so you get metro/bus/rail
named the same, exactly the same. I still think you can keep your
names if you want to, try to keep data purists away. We do create data
that is used on maps and routers so the most important thing is that

What about search and routing engines returning the expected result for
exact sign of the name of the local station? As a traveller it’s annoying
to be told to go to x station, only to get there and find it’s the
underground or some other

We already have public_transport=stop_area and the site-relation in use
with stations. For the buildings with several levels we even have
level-relations.
As these areas are sometimes quite complex we won't be able to map them
all in a simple way.
