Most of them are run in the South Bay/Peninsula and organized by Shawn Britton. If you want to host events via meetup, just get in touch with me and I can make you can admin on the group (there are about 150 people in the group currently). It would be great to see more events in SF, the east bay and Marin. (I don't have much time to organize anymore).
