A suggestion if you're not going to render trunk separately from primary: My MapQuest/National Geographic road atlas from 1999 puts a line in the middle of the road for a divided highway (in reality this includes multilane undivided highways). It shouldn't be hard to parse the number of lanes and

It's great to see our data on Mapquest. There are a few bugs, though. I've done a lot of editing of tertiary and secondary roads on the Navajo Reservation. I notice that they do not render always as two different colors. Also, sometimes they just stop midroad. Charlotte Charlotte Wolter
