Hey all, If your weather is anything like mine, you must be thinking about getting out to map again! (If you haven’t already.) Well think about this: next month is Spring Mapathon weekend, on May 14-15. Now is the time to start planning your local Mapathon event! If your OSM group is on Meetup, you could post a save-the-date now and add event details as you figure them out. Same for Facebook groups and other networks I would say!
We haven’t nailed down a theme yet - it would be nice to do something outdoorsy to celebrate spring? Steven Johnson suggested mapping public gardens and parks (for example your local Arboretum or Botanical Garden or City Park). What do you think? (We don’t have to do a theme.)
