There will probably be a deadline, after which new members will no longer
receive ballots for the ongoing Board Election. It isn't set in stone yet,
but will likely be late in the day this coming Friday.
When the cutoff is firmly settled, I'll send a note out.

Actually I think it is pretty easy, if tedious. Check with the local
government office. They have tons of information of interest to OSM. It is
a matter of verifying permission to use it, and importing it in some way, or
in this case referencing it.

Can we agree that prefixes should probably be separated out if they are
hardly ever (I don't want to say never as there are always rare exceptions)

Yes. I think that is reasonable.
For other cases I think we really need some locals input in how
All that aside, multiple types of land records for different uses, as well
as existing maps, all agree
Then under the guidelines I suggested, it would seem that this is a
valid case where directionals are not really part of the street name
and are in the data only because of Tiger. The issue I

Hi Everyone,
First time mailing, probably overdue, but I've been reading for a while.
Got a question I'm hoping will spark some discussion:
What would you like to see done (or NOT see done) with TIGER 2010 as regards
OSM when it is released?
I'm very interested in the why behind any

I have been curious about this as well. In my opinion it would be
great to be able to update untouched TIGER ways with the new data. I
agree that this would likely have to be a county-by-county decision.
Could there be a tool like OWL but that would allow looking at a whole
county at a time to
