Re: The Talk2 List Microsoft outlook and OE issues

Ah, good for them! With that extension OE has almost as many features
as Mozilla Thunderbird. If your screen reader supports it, switch
today. Propper imap support that doesn't break all the time, and
address book that doesn't suck, follows standards, completely free and
open source, fast, better security, what more could you want? I will
continue to laugh at Outlook and Outlook Express users.

As will I. Some questions though:
I have installed thunderbird on another box just to play around with, and have
not started using it as a primary thingy. It looks nice.

For one thing, I get random messages saying that my mail server is not
an imap4 server, with an ok button. I don't know what the point of that
is, since it gets my mail fine, and this only happens every now and then.
Also, I can't find a way to customize the reply text, which is really
boring by default. I want a thingy like I have configured in the bat! to
use a cookie rather than static text. This is fun and I like it loads,
unlike the kids screaming outside my bedroom window, which are most
annoying. A smith-and-wesson should shut them up, but I haven't got one
on hand at this time.
