4GB ramn isn't very much, and I suspect not upgradable.  From a quick
search, the ram is soldered on and not upgradable.

Interesting that one part says the CPU is an M5, and another part says M7.
So which is it?

one with 8GB ram, 256GB SSD and the M7 CPU.  Of course it costs more. :)

No idea if this thing is at all durable or not.  No idea if Linux will
install on it yet.

Of course given it was released 1 year ago, I wonder if these sales are
trying to get rid of them before a replacement model comes out in time
for the xmas shipping season.
