Hello, We now have experimental binary packages which support OpenSSL 1.1, which is required for Ubuntu 19.04 "Disco" and the newly-released Debian 10 "buster".

You can see all commits which went into this update here: https://github.com/Tarsnap/tarsnap/commits/1.0.39-deb-2 If everything goes well, these should become the non-experimental packages in a week or so.
