This seems very unlikely.
Come on... TB! has set every *.tbb and *.tbi file's length to zero
byte. Moreover *.flx, *.cfg, *.abd files were deleted. Access time of
the folders are exactly the same.

else_. I would also mention that if this bug was "introduced" in
1.45 beta, then it still exists in the final version.
