I don't read my messages in a maximised view folder. Following your
instructions to open, maximize, close, open, in, out and shake it all
about, I now know what all this FROM field disappearance is about.
Now that I tried it with the window maximised, the FROM address does
indeed disappear. Not only does it disappear from the initial message
but the FROM address don't reappear when moving on to the next. Unless
the window in minimised, closed, shaken about a bit and then reopened.
The solution is to not have the window maximised but to set it to a
size capable of displaying the messages comfortably. This is how I have
mine set and is obviously why I couldn't reproduce the effect.
