Sorry for hijacking the thread, but will this allow to implement
#0001826 (https://bt.ritlabs.com/view.php?id=1826) ?

DexExpress widgets seems to provide this functionality out of the box:
https://documentation.devexpress.com/WindowsForms/2492/Controls-and-Libraries/Ribbon-Bars-and-Menu/Ribbon/The-Ribbon-UI/Ribbon-Control

On the screenshot, imagine "New document 1" being a letter. There is
enough of space to have another 4 right next to it.

We will first release a version with toolbar functionality similar to what was
in previous versions, but the new code (TB2K/SpTBX -> DevExpress) and after the
release will take care of the ribbons. They need complete overhaul, not just
mimic the main menu.

Was I the only one who was supposed to get this?

Still has some problems:

I have a custom button bar at the top of the message panel which includes the message tag, "JUNK" but every time I quit and re-start "JUNK" is replaced by the complete list of tags. This is new in V9

In this version when I start TB, the Quick search and Standard items are properly not displayed but after re-configuring my custom button bar, they suddenly appear.

Closing the Quick Seach box causes this:

Hello Maxim,

there is no ribbon menu anymore, also no setting for the ribbon menu.
After a restart all toolbar buttons have disappeared. If you change
the language, they appear again - very strange behavior.

oh, here has something strange happened...

All the skins are gone.
The ribbon UI is gone.
The EXE is only 35 MB compared to the previous 55.

Is that an intentional step back from the ribbon or just a forgotten
link to the new UI-framework before compiling?

The header of the page seems to be a little bit out of shape after
startup (without ribbon and moved bar to left).
